OAK RIDGE - Mr. Ian Marshall Gentry Blake, 18, of 2096 Ashburton Court, died Dec. 22, 1996, at his home.
A memorial service will be held for Ian at 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 26, 1996, in Forbis and Dick Guilford Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service.
Ian Blake was born Oct. 9, 1978, in Greensboro, and was a 1996 graduate of Northwest High School.
Ian is survived by his parents, Thomas and Cynthia (Ward) Blake of the home; brothers, Adam Blake and Benjamin Blake of the home; grandparents, T. Howard and Venaway (Gore) Blake of Greensboro, and Robert and Dorothy Watkins Wilson of Oak Ridge; great-grandmothers, Mrs. Ruby Gore of Little River, S.C., and Mrs. Beatrice Wilson of Oak Ridge; and several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by great-grandparents, C.O. and Vivian (Deed) Blake, and Samuel Gentry and Myrtle (Melvin) Watkins.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice at Greensboro, 2500 Summit Ave., Greensboro, N.C. 27405.
