Mr. Jerry Max Isley, 71, died Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Hinkle Hospice House, Lexington.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday October 5, 2016 at Forbis and Dick, N. Elm Street Chapel, with Rev. Gary Reeder and Rev. Gene Lawhorne officiating. Interment will follow in Pierce’s Chapel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Jackson Creek.
Mr. Isley was born on July, 27, 1945 in Guilford County, son of the late McLeod and Esther Rayle Isley. He retired from Bell South in 1998 following 35 years of service. A Master Bee Keeper, he was a member of the N.C. State Bee Keepers Association in Randolph, Guilford, Forsyth, Rockingham and Davidson Counties. He served as regional representative for nine different counties for several years. He was a life member of HOG and along with his wife traveled extensively.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 4, 206 at Forbis and Dick, N. Elm Street.
