Mary Louise Isley (1924 - 2010)
GREENSBORO — Mary Louise Isley, 86, passed away, Monday, December 27, 2010.
A 3 p.m. funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Brown Wesleyan Church with Rev. Larry Pope, Rev. Allen Myers, and Rev. Randall Shaw officiating. Interment will follow the service at Lakeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Isley was born September 6, 1924 to the late Bobby Reid and Rosa Mae East. Mary was a 32 year member of Brown Wesleyan Church where she also taught Sunday school.
Mrs. Isley was preceded in death by her parents and husband, C.A. Isley of 65 years.
She is survived by her son, Mike Isley (Carolyn), daughter, Melinda Isley Blackman (John), sister, Dorothy Lowe, brother, Bobby East, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Special thanks to friends, Rodney and Kathy Jordan and our gratitude to the staff of St. Gayle's Manor for their loving care.
Flowers will be accepted and memorial contributions may be made to St. Gayle's Manor, 1411 Lees Chapel Road, Greensboro, NC 27405-1615.
