Obituary Online notes for Noah Maroney CLIMER
1st wife Margaret Webb & 2nd wife Rhoda L Diamond.

His & Peggy's children are Samuel, George, twins John & Webb and daughter Jane Maynard.

Noah & Rhoda's child was Ellen Belle Webb.

We have not located Samuel Maroney Clymer Sr's burial place at this time.

It is suspected from family stories that Sam Sr died about 1870 or 1871.

His son's name is Samuel Maroney Clymer Jr. However his family spell's his middle name Maroni. The Buffalo Church register was probably unreadable and says it is Samuel Moysene Clymer.

Pending records show that REUBEN CLIMER OF Illinois may be your twin brother. Also, orphan records prove that grandpa John Climer raised both of you but neither are listed in his will. It is strange that both you and Reuben were merchants owning grocery stores. Except you owned a hotel, saloon, flour mill, still and was post master of Ramsboro, NC 1843.

However they changed the name of Ramsboro to Monticello, NC in 1848.

So all your children except Ellen Belle were actually born in Ramsboro, NC.

You also were a lawyer,Colonel of home guards, & chairman of the draft board.
470, Noah Maroney Climer
