Carl B. McClintock, 76, of 712 Southard Street, #8, died Sunday, May 29, 2005, at his home.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Wilkerson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Other times, the family will be at the residence.
Mr. McClintock was born in Reidsville to the late Carl G. and Bessie Mitchell McClintock. He was employed with the American Tobacco Company for 24 years. He later taught a sheet metal course at Rockingham Community College for several years, was employed with Williams Sheet Metal and attended the Reidsville congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Keith McClintock, a brother, George M. McClintock, two sisters, Edith Manley and Dorothy Knighten.
He is survived by his wife, Estelle H. McClintock of the home; daughter Chris Hardiman and husband Robert of Wilton; sons, Larry W. McClintock and wife Sally of Bluefield, Va., and Mark C. McClintock and wife Sarah of Reidsville; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sister Peggy Warner and husband John of Reidsville.
