John Phillip Storey, 74, of Burlington passed away at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Monday, January 4, 2021 at 10:29 a.m.
Born in Guilford County, he was the son of Forrest Phillip "Jiggs" Storey and Margaret Pentecost Storey, both deceased.
John was very friendly and never met a stranger. He loved Elvis, tractors, and Ronnie Sox. He was an avid NASCAR fan with Richard Petty being his favorite driver.
Survivors include four siblings, Minerva Zettle (Eric), Cindy Norris (Danny) and Joe Storey, all of Burlington and Michael Storey (Kelly) of Graham; nieces and nephews, Michael Lynn Bundren (Mandy), Amanda Lankford, Bradley Norris (Amanda), Amy Munns (Stephen), Beth Miller (Donnie), Brandon Storey (Michelle), and Mikayla Storey; and many great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington on Thursday, January 14, 2021 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. A graveside service will follow at Alamance Memorial Park 470, John Phillip Storey
