Obituary Online notes for Baxter Purleymon REITZEL Jr.
Baxter Reitzel, Jr., Siler City died Friday, February 17, 2012 in Chapel Hill. He was an Army veteran and retired from several businesses that he owned or co-owned. He was a former Rotarian and Jaycee and served as a volunteer for The Salvation Army Chatham County Service Unit. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Siler City and served on several committees over the years.

He is survived by his wife: Nancy (Storey) Reitzel of Siler City; sons and daughters-in-law, Todd and Donna of Beltsville, Maryland and Douglas and Kim of Galax, Virginia and grandchildren, Emma, Georgia, Garrett and Davis.

A graveside memorial service will be held Monday, February 20, 2012 at 11:00AM at Oakwood Cemetery in Siler City with Rev. Clyde Denny officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be sent to First United Methodist Church, PO Box 212, Siler City, NC 27344.

Smith & Buckner Funeral Home is assisting the family.
