Obituary Online notes for Betty Gray PICKARD
Betty Pickard Workman, 86, of Liberty passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, after an extended period of health issues.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 29th at 11:00 am at Pleasant Hill Christian Church, 1712 Pleasant Hill-Liberty Road, Liberty, NC, officiated by Rev. Howard Spray and Pastor Willie Pickard, burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 28th from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Loflin Funeral Home, 212 West Swannanoa Avenue, Liberty NC.
Betty is the daughter of the late Theodore and Pearl Carter Pickard and was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Buddy Workman, and her brothers, Blake Pickard and Bill Pickard.
Surviving is her daughter, Melinda Workman Matthews (Bill) of Rocky Mount, NC and son, Christopher T. Workman (Kim) of Boone, NC as well as her sisters, Patty P. Frazier (Jimmy), Lynda P. Barker, Judy P. Overman (Jack) and her brother, Earl Pickard (Rebecca) and several nieces and nephews.
Flowers are welcomed, but if you so desire, you can make a memorial contribution to Pleasant Hill Christian Church or your favorite charity.
