Margie Apple Shepherd, 70, died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 1999, at Moses Cone Hospital.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, 1999, in Guilford Memorial Park.
A native of Guilford County, Mrs. Shepherd was a member of Rocky Knoll Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Shepherd.
Mrs. Shepherd is survived by one brother, Walter Talmadge Apple, Jr. of Greensboro.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, 1999, at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel and other times, at the residence of her brother, 5316 Solar Pl.
Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society, 4-A Oak Branch Dr., Greensboro, N.C. 27407 or to Hospice of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Ave., Greensboro, N.C. 27405.
