Paul Albert Lineberry, 85, of 408 Brandywine Road, Chapel Hill formerly of Troy Caveness Road, Coleridge, died Thursday, May 12, 2011 at The Laurels of Chatham in Pittsboro.

Funeral Services, 11:00 AM, Monday, May 16, 2011, Concord United Methodist Church.

Officiating, Rev. Ed Carter.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard.

He was a native of Randolph County and was an Army WWII veteran, serving with Gen. Patton and a member of Concord United Methodist Church. He was retired from Kellwood in Siler City and retired farmer. He was preceded in death by his grandsons, John Edward Lineberry and Jimmy Ray McCraw, Jr. and his parents, Albert Jefferson and Eliza Lineberry.

Survivors: wife, Annie Dare Lineberry of the home, daughters, Mary Paul McCraw and husband, Bo, of Asheboro, Dianna Lynn Trogdon and husband, Mark, of Ramseur, son, Eddie Lineberry and wife, Vickie, of Chapel Hill, sisters, Edna Ruth Strider of Greensboro, Louise Schenk of Burlington, grandchildren, Todd Lineberry, Jonathan Lineberry, Ashley Trogdon, Erin Trogdon, great grandchildren, Elyssa Lineberry, Tatum Hiatt.

Visitation, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, Loflin Funeral Home, Ramseur.

Arrangements by Loflin Funeral Home, Ramseur.
