Obituary Online notes for Mary Louise SQUIRES
Mary Louise Squires Whitaker, 91 passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Franklin and Hattie Myrtle Douglas Squires and wife of Homer Lee Whitaker who survives.
She was sick only a short while. All was done that loving hands could. God loved her best. Only a flower budded on earth to bloom in heaven. She is not dead but asleep in Jesus that blessed sleep from which none ever awake to weep.
A place is vacant in the home that can never be filled. The voice we loved is stilled. We know that she can not come in again but may they be able to form a family unbroken around the great white throne in heaven, as they were once here on earth.
Survivors include her sons Thomas Squires Whitaker, Sr. and wife Vickie Greeson Whitaker and Ronald Lee Whitaker and wife Kathleen Pickett Whitaker; daughters, Sandy Whitaker Albright and husband Johnny Albright and Susan Whitaker Honeycutt and husband Gary T. Honeycutt; grandchildren, Honorable Kathryn Whitaker Overby and husband Benjamin David, Elizabeth Whitaker Powell and husband Robert, Matthew Paul Newsome and wife Amy, Benjamin Condy Newsome and wife Julie, Lee Alexander Whitaker and wife Victoria, Patrick K. Foy, Jr. and wife Erin, Kyle G.
