WIGGER, Earl Edward, 65, of Masonic Square, Springfield, Ohio, passed away at 9:32 P.M. Wednesday, Oct. 13, 1993 in Mercy Medical Center, Springfield.
He was born June 9, 1928, in Dayton, the son of Herbert Gladys (Freeze) Wigger.
He was a resident of the Miami Valley all his life. A graduate of Wayne Township High School, he attended Purdue University and Sinclair College. He worked as a farmer for a number of years and retired after 28 years from Sears, Roebuck Co. in Dayton. He was a member of the New Carlisle Lodge New Carlisle Craft Club; New Carlisle Chapter R.A.M.; New Carlisle Council Royal Select Masons; Palestine Commandry Knights Templar; Norris Chapter Valley of Dayton Scottish Rite; the First United Methodist Church in New Carlisle and a past member of the Wayne Township Grange.
Earl was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Marie (Harper) Wigger; sons, Charles, North Hampton, John, New Carlisle; 3 daughters, Mrs. Nicholas (Susan) Frazier, San Angelo, Helen, Lexington, Mrs. Brett (Dorothy) Beaverson, Lexington, 3 grandchildren, Theresa Michael Frazier and Heather Beaverson; a sister, Mrs. H.W. (Lucille) Covert, Huber Heights; other relatives and friends.
Services will be 10:30 A.M. Monday, Oct. 18, 1993 in the Trostel, Chapman Christmas Funeral Home, New Carlisle, with Pastor Donald R. Yocum, Masonic Home Chaplain, officiating. Burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
