Howard L. Poorman, 66, died unexpectedly Monday at his home in Palmetta, Fla. A former resident of Fort Wayne, he was a retired General Electric employe and a member of the United Methodist Church, Waynedale, Maumee Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rite, Fort Wayne.
Mr. Poorman was born Oct. 10, 1910 in Markle to John and Maude Tharp Poorman, and his marriage was on Dec. 29,1928 to the former Grace Spahr, who survives....
Also surviving...two brothers, Russell Poorman, Fort Wayne and Eugene Poorman, Terre Haute and two sisters, Mrs. Delmar Green, Fort Wayne and Mrs. Twyla Cox, Angola.
Friends may call at the Butler Funeral Home, Warren, after 7 p.m. Wednesday, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, with Rev. Garth Irey officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Warren.
