Burial will follow in the Jay Em. Sharon died on Sept. 2, 2004, at her home in Jay Em. Those who wish may direct memorial contributions in her memory to the Torrington Waggin' Tails Animal Shelter.
She was born on Nov. 26, 1943, in Bluffton, Ind., the daughter of Russell and Rosalee (Flora) Spahr. She grew up and received her education; and graduated from Culver High School in Culver, Indiana. Following high school, Sharon went on to attend Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana where she was an honor student. She then moved to San Diego, Calif., where she attended the Berean Bible College.
When school was finished, Sharon moved to Jay Em, where she spent a year before moving to Torrington, where she had resided until February 2004, when she moved back to Jay Em. Sharon married Milton Holler in Scottsbluff and the couple had been married for more than 20 years.
She was a devoted daughter and sister, a faithful wife and extraordinarily loving mother. Sharon was an adoring grandmother who loved her grandchildren very much and was also known for her spirit of giving. Her joys included studying her Bible, gardening and landscaping; but most important was her family time and being able to take care of them. She served on the Nebraska Aglow Board for over 15 years where she served in many different capacities. Sharon will be sorely missed by all her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband Milton, of Jay Em; a daughter, Melina and her husband, Scott Sample of Moreno Valley, Calif.; her parents, Russell and Roselee Spahr of Jay Em; a sister, Kerry and her husband, Ned Herr of Moreno Valley and a granddaughter Breezy Sample also of Moreno Valley. 470, Sharon Lee Spahr Holler
