Mr. and Mrs. Vanscoyac went down to Grenoia, Elk county, Thursday to spend the Fourth with Mrs. Vanscoyac's parents and while there their little three month old daughter took sick and died very suddenly Friday night. Mr. Vanscoyac returned home Saturday evening to make preparation for burial and Mrs. Vanscoyac arrived Sunday afternoon with the remains which were interred at the old Hiatt cemetery Sunday evening.
