SCOTTSBURG WIRE, SYLVIA V., 99, died Saturday, February 4, 2006. She was born on January 7, 1907, in Majenica, IN. She was a homemaker and a member of First Christian Church of Scottsburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Wire and her parents, William Wesley and Nancy Melissa Marshall Shores.
Survivors include sons, William E. Wire (Joan), Pittsburgh, PA, and Dan G. Wire (Dee), Scottsburg, IN; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service: 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2006, at Stewart Funeral Home, with Larry J. DeWitt officiating. Burial: Scottsburg Cemetery. Visitation: 4 - 7:30 p.m. Monday, February 6, 2006, and after 9 a.m. Tuesday.
