Chelsea R. Bennett, 18, Osawatomie, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2007, in a vehicular accident in Memphis, Mo.
She was born Sept. 15, 1989, in Overland Park, the daughter of Larry and Marcy Parker Bennett. She grew up in the Osawatomie area.
In November of this year, she completed requirements for her general-equivalency degree. She was planning to attend college.
She enjoyed riding around with her friends and being unique with different hair colors and styles. She loved music. A caring person, she was always there for others in time of need.
Survivors include her father of Paola; her mother of Osawatomie; four sisters, Crystal Bennett of Raleigh, N.C., Adrian Bennett and Charlotte Bennett, both of Lafayette, Ind., and Nicki Stamper of Paola; stepsister, Asia White of Lafayette; and her grandparents, Judy and Wilbur Parker and Paulette Bennett, all of Paola.
Services were Tuesday in Miami Memorials Gardens southwest of Paola. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson and Son Funeral Home, 305 N. Pearl St., Paola. 470, Chelsea R. Bennett
