Ann Wright, 94, of Danville, died on January 31, 2021.
She was born on August 20, 1926 in Gibsonville, N.C. to Harry and Roxie Stuart.
She was married to the late Rev. Thomas Edgar Wright who pastored many churches in the Danville area.
She is survived by her sons, Dennis Wright (Brenda), the Rev. Jeffrey Wright (Darlene), Stephen Wright (Linda) and Chris Wright (Mary Jo); eight grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by all of her siblings.
Ann started teaching in public schools while still a college student. She taught in Portsmouth and Danville Public Schools for 28 years.
She was the author of eight books. She oil painted throughout her adult life.
She went on many mission trips in different countries.
She traveled to every state in the nation and to six of the seven continents.
Burial will be held at Danville Memorial Gardens. 470, Ann Stuart Wright
