Angelia Faye Cobb Overman, beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Great Great Grandmother, also known as “Faye” and “Grandma O”, passed away peacefully at the age of 86 years old on the afternoon of Sunday, January 18, 2026.

Angelia was known for her very large and kind heart. She was a devoted mother and caregiver. When visiting with Angelia one might see her tending to her garden, feeding hummingbirds, or even collecting rocks. Angelia was known around the community and through the family as a persistent church goer who enjoyed completing arts and crafts.

Angelia is survived by her daughter, Tina Rainey and husband, Pete; her grandchildren, Tabatha Overman Wrenn, Kelley Overman Carter and husband, Randall, Tia Rainey, Coy Rainey; her great grandchildren, Wesley “Wes” Willard Wrenn, Lari Ester Wrenn and newlywed husband, Chris, Skyler Shane Carter, Bobby James Surrette and Mason Lee Goodson and her great great grandchildren, Lil Wes, Violet and Jasmine Wrenn.

Angelia is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Overman; her son, Timmy Overman; her parents, “Allie” and Jenny Lee Cobb, and her great grandson, John Christopher Wrenn; her siblings, Willard Cleo Cobb and his wife Virginia, Vertie Billings and her husband Clarence, Hazel Crouse and her husband Mickey, and Elmo Cobb and his wife Shirley.

Tina Rainey personally extends her gratitude and appreciation to Tabatha Overman Wrenn for all her time and caregiving she gave her mother, Angelia Faye Cobb Overman.

The funeral service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00am, Friday, January 23, 2026 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Stephen Hall, and the burial will follow at Bush Arbor Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 22, 2026 from 5-7PM at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the residence.
