Mr. Willie Jasper Tate
GIBSONVILLE — Mr. Willie Jasper Tate, 86, formerly of 400 Steele St., died Saturday,
Jan. 8, 2000, at The Evergreens in Greensboro.
He was the husband of the late Mrs. Faye McKinney Tate and the son of Mr. Eddie Lee
Tate and Mrs. Rosa Voss Tate, both deceased. He was retired from the Minneola Plant of
Cone Mills. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include a daughter, Ms. Patsy Tate Peterson of High Point; a sister, Ms. Alene
Tate of Gibsonville; a brother, Mr. Fred Tate of Venice, Fla.; two grandchildren; and two
great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. today at Gibsonville City Cemetery by
the Rev. William Grant of Beacon Baptist Church.
The family will be at 309 S. Joyner St., Gibsonville.
Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
Bartlett Funeral Home in Gibsonville is in charge of arrangements. 3, Wllie Jasper Tate
