Mrs. Gladys Brown Freeman
GRAHAM — Mrs. Gladys Brown Freeman, 67, of 1642 Swepsonville Road, died Monday, March 31, 2003, at her residence after three years of failing health.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Clarence A. Freeman, and the daughter of the late James Walter and Della Farmer Brown. She was a homemaker and was a member of Swepsonville Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Cathy Pelletier of Burlington; two sons, Albert Lee Freeman of Elon and Richard Keith Freeman of Graham; two sisters, Mrs. Flossie Brown Vines and Mrs. Nora B. Hensley, both of Burlington; five grandchildren, William E. Moots, Jr., Anita Renee Freeman, Jonathan Freeman, Bryan Jason Freeman, and Sarah Elizabeth Freeman; and two great-stepgrandchildren, Eddie Deleon and Raelene Deleon.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Anita Elizabeth Freeman; a sister, Pauline Mae Brown; and a brother, Garland Eugene Brown Sr.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham by the Rev. Bob Stephenson, pastor of Riverside Baptist Church. Burial will be in Graham Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Graham from 6 to 8 this evening, and at other times at the residence.
