DEATHS OF SOLDIERS.—....
Near Manassas, on the 25th ult., Peter R. Clapp of the "Guilford Dixie Boys," aged 21 years, 8 months and 19 days. Also, of the same company, private Thomas J. Gant, Sergeant Isaac W. Gossett, Sergeant Henry M. Clapp, and private James W. Lambeth—making eight deaths in that company since it left Greensborough.
