Dorothy Helm “Dot” Isley, 92, of Graham, NC passed away at her residence on Monday, February 2, 2026.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Jack Isley and the daughter of Alvis E. Helm and Mae Longest Helm, both deceased. She retired from the Alamance County School System as a teacher’s assistant. Dot was a member of the First Baptist Church of Graham.
Survivors include two sons, Kevin Scott Isley and wife Joanna of Graham and Jeffrey Stephen Isley and wife Candy of Graham; three grandchildren, Tyler Isley and wife Shelly, Kyle Isley and wife Caitlin, and Kory Isley; and two great grandchildren, Kade Isley and Madison Isley.
Dot was preceded in death by three sisters, Betty Collins, Elizabeth Webster, and Marie Loy, and two brothers, Bobby Helm and Kenneth Helm.
The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham on Friday, February 6, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. Chris Howe with the family receiving friends from 12:45 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service.
Burial will follow at Graham Memorial Park. Other times, the family will be at the residence from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 5, 2026.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 779, Graham, NC 27253.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to AuthoraCare Hospice and to her caregivers, Tootie Glass, Linda Bradsher, Tracy Yellock, Muffie Yellock, Deborah Thompson, Brenda Glass, and Joyce Miles.
