John L. Thomas age 81, of Roswell, Ga, passed away on Oct. 31, 2010.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Eli Burns Thomas and Eva Thomas; daughter Molly Lee Thomas; sister Gloria Dowler; brother, James R. Thomas.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Janet Alice Thomas of Roswell, Ga; son; his sister and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Thomas was born January 19, 1929 in Dayton, Oh.
He was a 1947 graduate of Stivers High School in Dayton, Oh and enjoyed sales promotion and his ministry of bird houses in his retirement.
He built and donated the bird houses for those in retirement homes. He had a life long passion for the game of golf.
He was an active member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Norcross, Ga.
