LORENE ELLEN BARNES, 84, of Eaton, Ohio, died Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Grandview Hospital in Dayton. Lorene was born in Preble County, Ohio on November 6, 1926, daughter of the late Fred L. and Ruth (Kirkhoff) Barnes. Lorene was employed at L & M Products and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church both in Eaton.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Ralph, James, and Forest Barnes and is survived by her nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at the Mound Hill Cemetery with Pastor Warren Reichert officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the cemetery at Barnes Funeral Home, 220 East Main Street, Eaton, Ohio.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Grace Lutheran Church, 111 Lutheran Drive, Eaton, Ohio 45320 or to the Eaton Emergency Squad, P.O. Box 27, Eaton, Ohio 45320. Condolences may be sent to the family via the Web site at www.barnesfuneralhome.com
