Melinda M. Derksen, age 58, of New Madison, OH passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Fort Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton, OH.
She was born June 19, 1966 to Leonard and Henrietta Hart.
Melinda had a true heart for helping people; she worked at Brookhaven Nursing Home as a Restorative Therapist for over 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her infant daughter Jennifer Renae Derksen; father Leonard Hart; and brother Milan Hart.
She is survived by her mother Henrietta Hart; husband David Derksen; children Josh (Heather) Derksen, Jessica (Tyler) Moore, Jalynn (Justin) Cromwell and Mia Melchor-Derksen; 12 grandchildren; brother Marlan (Tabetha) Hart; several nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm on Friday, February 14, 2025 at Sugar Grove Cemetery in West Alexandria, OH.
Gard Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Eaton, OH is assisting with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.
