Obituary Online notes for Genevieve Lucille OTT
Genevieve Lucille Trump, age 100, of Eaton and formerly of Eldorado, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Vancrest Nursing Center in Eaton. She was born October 9, 1917 in Preble County to the late Roy and Nellie (Hapner) Ott. She was a 1936 graduate of Monroe High School where she was crowned the first May Day Queen; was a member of the former West Manchester United Church of Christ; and she served on the Monroe Township and Preble County Board of Elections for 15 years.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by husband Hubert “Hub” Trump, who passed away in 1993; and sister Mary Ewing.

She is survived by her daughter Peggy (Dick) Parks of Eaton; sons Barry A. (Debbie) Trump of Eaton and Gary L. (Gail) Trump of Greenville; grandchildren: April (George Hopstetter) Erisman, Brian (Kelly) Trump, Holly Gross, Amy (Terry Neal) Haas, Brett (Maria) Trump, Christy (Travis) Cassel and Suzie (Tim) Davis; 18 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; brother Robert Ott of Eaton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 22, 2017 from 9:30 am until time of funeral services at 11:00 am at the Girton Schmidt & Boucher Gard Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton. Burial will follow at Castine Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Monroe Twp. Food Bank or Hospice of Dayton. Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.gsbfuneralhome.com.
