Patricia “Pat” Pierce, age 75, of Carroll, died Monday, August 28, 2017 at her residence.
Born February 12, 1942 in Columbus to the late Paul and Rita (Karnes) Litzinger, she was a graduate of Big Walnut High School. She was the former Postmaster for Carroll with 25 years of service.
Survived by her children, Chris (Mary) Pierce and Jennifer (Jerry) Yancey, all of Carroll; grandchildren, Alexis (Ceith) Creekmur, Michigan, Abbey (fiance, Eric Moore) Lape, Christina Pierce, Carroll; great-granddaughter, Elliot Creekmur; brother, Paul (Connie) Litzinger; sister-in-law, Mary Litzinger, Cleveland; boyfriend, Ray Schlagel; special friend, Judy Ridenour; nieces, nephews and many other friends.
Preceded in death by her husband, Dwight Darrell Pierce in 2004; granddaughter, Cheryl McKenzie; and brother, Daniel Litzinger.
Friends may visit 2-4 & 6-8 pm Friday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, where funeral service will be held 11 am Saturday. Interment Carroll Cemetery. 470, Patricia “Pat” Litzinger Pierce
