Survivors include his wife, Anna K. Gardiner Pence, whom he married July 28, 1937; one sister, Ruth Elizabeth Dafler of West Alexandria; nieces and nephews.
Service will be at 11 a.m. Friday with Rev. Suzanne Dillahunt officiating. Burial will be at Mound Hill Union Cemetery in Eaton.
