Donald Ludy, 69, 245 Miller Ave., died Monday, June 6, at his home.
He was born Jan. 2, 1925, in Preble County, to Jesse and Ruth Shock Ludy and had lived in Preble County all his life.
He was a retired farmer and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Fern E. Poos Ludy; his mother, Ruth Ludy of Eaton; one daughter, Rose Wolfe of Eaton; two sons, Leon A. and Gene M. Ludy, both of Eaton; five grandchildren; one sister, Martha Garrett of Eaton; and nephews.
A private service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 9, at the Girton-Schmidt-Boucher Funeral Home with Pastor Dean Garrett officiating.
Burial will be in Mound Hill Union Cemetery.
Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, at the funeral home.
