Cecil G. Villiard, 70, of Roanoke, IN, died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011, at 8:05 a.m. at Riverbend Health Care Center, Fort Wayne.
Mr. Villiard, a graduate of Roanoke High School, served for 20 years in the United States Navy on the USS Forrestal and in the submarine division. He worked as a security guard for several businesses in the Fort Wayne area. He was a member of Fellowship with God Nondenominational Church and American Legion Post 85.
He was born Sept. 30, 1940, in Huntington to Lewis and Elizabeth Wire Edmeston. He married Rose Kreienbrink Clouser on July 15, 1981. His wife survives.
Additional survivors include five daughters, Shawnna Treader and Sharon McFarland, both of Fort Wayne; Elizabeth (Bob) Johnson, of Howe; Josephine (Jon) Riley, of Wolcottville; and Brenda (Steve) Young, of Topeka; two sons, John (Gena) Clouser, of Germany, and Steve (Rhonda) Clouser, of Waynedale; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Calling is Sunday, Feb. 6, 2011, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Riverbend Health Care Center, 7519 Winchester Rd., Fort Wayne. A service will follow at 4 p.m., with Rev. John Wirt officiating.
Burial will be at a later date at Glenwood Cemetery.
Preferred memorials are gifts to the Villiard family in care of Roanoke Memorial Chapel of Deal-Rice Funeral Homes, 240 Crestwood Drive, Roanoke, IN 46783. [57652]
