Mrs. Bertha Forbes Hopkins
    BURLINGTON — Mrs. Bertha Forbes Hopkins, 91, of 403 Queen Ann St., died at 6:15 p.m. Thursday, June 24, 2004, at White Oak Manor.
    A native of Rockingham County, she was the wife of the late Clyde A. Hopkins, and the daughter of the late C.C. Forbes and the late Ida Griffin Forbes. She was retired from Tower Hosiery Mill, and was a member of Faith Bible Chapel.
    Survivors include a brother, Mr. Everett Wilson Forbes of Tennessee; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
    She was preceded in death by a brother, William Moore Forbes; and a sister, Mrs. Ruby Mae McCollum.
    The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington. Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park.
    The family will be at the Rich & Thompson Mortuary in Burlington from 12:30 until 2 p.m. Sunday, prior to the service.
    Memorials may be made to Faith Bible Chapel, 1013 W. Webb Ave., Burlington, N.C. 27215.
