Frankfort- Services for Doris S. Wilhoite, 80, of Matador Ct., will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Harrod Brothers Memorial Chapel.
She died Friday at her residence of natural causes. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
She was born June 12, 1926, in Monticcelo, NC. She was retired from Old Granddad Distillery where she was a Line Captain. She was a member of the American Legion and also a member of Crestwood Baptist Church.
She is survived by four sons, Robert Louis Rice, Owenton, Timmy Wayne Lee, Mark Wilhoite and David Wilhoite, all of Frankfort; three daughters, Joyce Elaine Cummins, Donna Marie New and Margaret Ellen Nichols, all of Frankfort; a brother, Lennoise Sutton, NC; four sisters, Lillie Brown, Marie Garringer, and Alene Warren, all of NC, and Mary Lou Long, FL; thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was the daughter of the late Onnie and MaryIda Payne Sutton.
Rev. Wallace Kent will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Bill Coomer, Willis Coomer, Bradley Gill, Eric Brockman, James Lee and Shaun Rice. Honorary bearers will be Michael Freeman, Mark Freeman, Michael Gill and Jason Rice.
Friends may call Sunday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home.
