Elizabeth Gill Webster
Mrs. Webster died quietly at home on Oct. 17, 2012 after suffering a stroke nine years ago.

She was known in her community and church for her generosity and her willingness to help others.

Well-known for her homemaking skills, she was also an artist. Over the years, she worked with fabrics and clothing design, quilting, crochet and oil painting.

Mrs.Webster will be remembered for her generosity, her kindness, her dedication and commitment to family and church. Though she could not speak after the stroke, she expressed her thanks for care by kissing the hand of the caregiver and other gestures we learned to understand.

She was a strong, courageous woman in the face of adversity. Mrs. Webster lived in such a way as to leave a legacy of strong Christian values — Faith, Patience, Gentleness, Kindness, and Love.

Mrs. Webster was a native of Orange County. She was a member of Eastside Baptist, where she was the oldest female member.

Mrs. Webster was preceded in death by her parents, Julian S. and Bertha Wilson Gill; and her husband, Henry Wilson Webster.

Survivors include two daughters, Faye Webster Mc-Naull and Nancy Webster Kametches; grandsons, Jonathan LaneMcNaullandwifeHeather Grey McNaull and their children, Hailey Grey McNaull and Bridget Lane McNaull, Stewart Anthony Mc-Naull and wife Peggy Penny McNaull and their daughter, Adelyn Carter McNaull, and his children by a previous marriage, Molly Elizabeth McNaull and Anderson James McNaull.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Eastside Baptist Church in Mebane, conducted by the Rev. Chuck Perkins. Burial will follow in Hawfields Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Mebane Friday night from 7 until 9 and at other times at the residence.

Memorials may be made to Eastside Baptist Church, 333 Supper Club Road, Mebane, NC 27302 or the American Heart Association, 202 Centreport Drive, Suite 100, Greensboro, NC 27409.
