Raleigh – Rachel Webster Walters, 88, passed away Sunday. She was the daughter of Cary Nelson Webster and Addie Emeline Farrell.
Rachel married her husband, Robert Brett Walters Jr. in 1950 who preceded her in death in 2014.
She is survived by her two children, Robert Brett Walters and Jan Walters Williams; five grandchildren, Jim, Bert, Carey, Bailey, Brett and two great grandchildren, Hannah and Julia.
She was one of 17 Webster children and the last to pass. She was affectionately known as Aunt Rachel by many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM on Wednesday May 4, 2016 at Bryan Lee Funeral Home, Garner. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh. Family and friends will gather at George and Jan’s home, 1104 Armsleigh Ct. Raleigh, following the graveside.
