Kenneth Wayne Heath, 81, of Julian, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, December 9, 2017.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Coble's Lutheran Church, 5200 Coble Church Road, Julian. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Coble's Lutheran Church; burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Ken was an employee of the NC Department of Transportation for 25 years and also worked for Southeast Guilford High School for several years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lucille Clapp and Andy Valentine Heath; sisters, Jeanette Cranfill, Isabell Brown, Edna Shaw; and brothers, Robert Heath and Harvey Heath.
Ken leaves behind his loving wife, Daphne Coble Heath; daugthers, Sandra Heath Mitchell (Malcolm), and Lori Ann Heath Klein (Harley); son, Gary Lynn Heath (Lindy); grandchildren, Jessie Michelle Heath, Joseph Monroe Heath (Brittani), Jarrod Wayne Heath (Donna); and one great-grandchild, Baylee Nichole Heath.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Coble's Lutheran Church, 5200 Coble Church Road, Julian, NC 27283, or Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Ave., Greensboro, NC 27405.
