Mrs. Dorothy Brown Rainey
BURLINGTON — Mrs. Dorothy Brown Rainey, 76, of 726 McCray
Road, died Monday, Aug. 12, 2002, at Alamance Regional Medical
Center.
A native of McLeansville, she was a former employee of the McCray
Mini-Mart & Grill and was a member of Peace Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband, Robert W. Rainey Jr. of the home; and
three brothers, Henry Brown, Daniel Brown, and John Brown, all of
McLeansville.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Charlie Brown.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Forbis & Dick North
Elm Chapel. Burial will follow in Peace Lutheran Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Forbis & Dick North Elm Chapel from 6
to 8 this evening, and at other times at the residence of her brother,
Henry Brown, 5431 Timbermill Road, McLeansville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of
Alamance-Caswell, P.O. Box 2122, Burlington, N.C. 27216. 3, Mrs. Dorothy Brown Rainey
