Mrs. Mary Williamson Walker 


    GIBSONVILLE — Mrs. Mary Williamson Walker , 83, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2007 at her residence. Mrs. Walker  was born July 19, 1924 in Caswell County to the late Arthur Kent and Bessie Turner Williamson . She was the widow of Homer B. Walker  who preceded her in 1998. Mrs. Walker  was a lifelong member of Camp Springs United Methodist Church and loved her church family and Sunday school class. She faithfully served with her husband in community organizations throughout the years. She was a homemaker, devoted mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great grandmother.
    Survivors include two sons, Bill Walker  and his wife Patsy and Ken Walker  and his wife Angie all of Elon; three grandchildren, Angela Walker  and husband Chris Morrison of Gibsonville, NC, Jordan Walker  and fiancee’ Amanda Morton of Cary, NC, and Katie Walker  of Brooklyn, NY; three great grandchildren, Kelsey, Garrett, and Bayleigh Morrison all of Gibsonville; and a sister, Betty Williamson  of Burlington.
She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Walker  and a sister, Sara Paschal. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at Camp Springs United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Monday evening at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and at other times the family will be at the home.
    The family would like to personally thank Shelia Davis for the help she gave the family during this time of sudden loss.
