Wayland Vann Loftis
October 17, 1939 ~ April 17, 2020 (age 80)
Wayland Vann Loftis, 80, of Burlington, died Friday, April 17, 2020 at his home.
A native of Caswell County, Mr. Loftis was the husband of Doris Benfield Loftis, who survives, and the son of the late Andrew Carlyle Loftis, Sr. and the late Myrtle Garrison Loftis. Mr. Loftis was the youngest of twelve children.
Mr. Loftis was retired from Alamance Developmental Center and was a member of Beacon Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, Doris, of the home, Mr. Loftis is survived by his son, Chad, of Burlington; a sister, Margorie L. Dix, of Burlington and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a private graveside service for the family at Alamance Memorial Park on Tuesday. Officiating will be the Rev. Greg Barkman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Beacon Baptist Church, 1622 Kirkpatrick Rd, Burlington, NC, 27215. 3, Wayland Vann Loftis
