OBITUARIES Mrs. Patricia  M. Pettigrew 
    BURLINGTON — Mrs. Patricia  M. Pettigrew , 72, of 206 Stoneybrook Court, Burlington, died Friday, June 17, 2005, at 4:30 a.m. at Edgewood Place.
    A native of Alamance County, Mrs. Pettigrew  was the wife of James Pettigrew , and daughter of the late Paul Edward McAdams and Emma Lindsay McAdams Moore . She was a former employee of AT&T, a member of the First United Methodist Church of Elon, a member of the Women of the Moose, and was very active with volunteer work, both at the church and at the Village at Brookwood.
    Surviving other than her husband of the home are a daughter, Ms. Linda P. Munn of Gibsonville; a son, Mr. James Michael Pettigrew  and wife, Marisa, of Indian Trail, N.C.; grandchildren, Elizabeth Leigh Ross, Stephanie Ann Ross, James Matthew Pettigrew , Mary Rachel Pettigrew  and Cameron Hunnicutt; a brother; Mr. Robert E. McAdams of Houston, Texas. Mrs. Pettigrew was preceded in death by a sister, Miss Sylvia K. McAdams.
    Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 20 at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington by the Rev. Terry Huffines, Pastor of First United Methodist Church of Elon. Burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park.
    The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Mortuary in Burlington from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, and other times at the residence.
    Memorials may be made to Hospice of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, N.C. 27215.
