John Stacey Trull was born on April 14, 1935 to John Plummer Trull and Eula Belle Cates Trull.
Stacey was married to Edna Ruth Sharpe Albright Trull. After 64 ½ years of marriage she preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death was his brother, Samuel Ellis Trull (Shirley) and his sister Ethelyn Trull Fitch (Harry).
Stacey was an Elon College graduate, and he was retired from AT&T. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and served as head of the Caleb Club along with his wife for many years. He was a member of the Gideons.
He leaves behind his daughter, Deborah Albright White (Jeff) of Reidsville, NC; grandchildren, Donald Carey Matheson (Christy) of Mooresville and their children, Salem, Jax, Creed, Sawyer & London Claire, Andrea Nicale Matheson Coe (Chris) of Whitsett and their children, Macie & Chandler. A sister-in-law,Kay Sharpe Black of Graham, brother-in-law, Larry Eugene Sharpe (Bonnie) of Gaffney, SC and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church, 238 Dixon Road, Graham, NC 27253.
