Ida Webster Sink, 97, of Burlington passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2012.
The funeral will be held at 12 Noon Tuesday at Kinnett Memorial Baptist Church by Pastor Don Pegg with interment to follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:30 -11:45 AM Tuesday prior to the service at the church.

Ida Webster Sink
   BURLINGTON — Ida Webster Sink, 97, of Burlington passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Liberty Commons.

   She was born in Chatham County, daughter of the late Willie Bazzel and Minnie Ada Clark Webster and was married to the late Burley Eugene Sink. She retired from Variety Hosiery. Ida was a charter member of Kinnett Memorial Baptist Church where she was known as a prayer warrior and also worked in the nursery for many years. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed cooking and flower gardening.

   She is survived by her daughter, Carol (Tony) Griffin of Cary; sons, Jack W. (Nancy) Sink of Burlington and Ronnie E. (Carolyn) Sink of Abbeville, S.C.; grandchildren, Trish (Erle) Medford, Kathie (Drew) Nevin,Carrie(Joe)Boos,Haley (Daniel) Smith, Chris Sink and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, eight sisters and a brother.

   The funeral will be held at noon Tuesday at Kinnett Memorial Baptist Church by Pastor Don Pegg with interment to follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. Tuesday prior to the service at the church and at other times at the home of Jack Sink, 2603 Cambridge Road, Burlington, N.C. 27215.

   Memorials may be made to Kinnett Memorial Baptist Church, 1106 E. Morehead St., Burlington, NC 27215.

   The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Liberty Commons.
