PITTSBORO — Inez Webster Mann , 85, of Pittsboro, died at her home on Wednesday morning.
A native of Chatham County, she was very active in community affairs, a member of Orange Chapel United Methodist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Mann .
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today, March 11, 2005, at the Orange Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Patricia S. Sykes officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
She is survived by two daughters, Juanita McIver of Bear Creek and Glenda Fay Baity and her husband, Darold, of Winston-Salem; two sons, William F. Mann and his wife, Carolyn, of Chapel Hill and Raymond Mann and his wife, Martha, of Pittsboro; a sister, Ida W. Sink of Burlington; 10 grandchildren; Kenneth and Allen McIver, Cyndi Comito, David, Darold, and Dean Baity, Raye and Paul Mann , and Michael Mann , and Leslie Mann Parker; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family will greet friends from noon to 2 p.m. prior to the services in the fellowship building at the church.
