Faye Taylor Alcon

March 25, 1934 ~ June 24, 2021 (age 87)

Faye Elaine Taylor Alcon, 87, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at ARMC.  A native of Alamance County, she was born March 25, 1934 to the late Robet Russell and Daisy Agnes Pender Taylor. She was the wife of the late Carl Leonard Alcon.
  Faye retired as a Registered Nurse after 38 years with Alamance County and Memorial Hospitals. Faye was a member of Holly Hill Baptist Church and former member of Brookwood Baptist Church. She enjoyed her Christian Women’s Group and fellowshipping with other Christians. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
  Faye is survived by her daughters, Debra “Debbie” Alcon of Burlington and Teressa Way and husband, Stuart of Graham; son, Jimmy Alcon and wife, Sissy of Elon; grandchildren; Ted Lowery, Alicia “Alley” (Chris) Purcell, Chris Lowery, Kayla Alcon and Peyton Alcon; great grandchildren, Erin and Kaitlin Lowery and great great grandchildren, Stacy, Macy and Dorothy Faye Lowery; sister, Laura Forbes and husband, Herman of Graham; brothers, Robert Taylor of Randleman and Keith Taylor of Graham; grand-dogs, “Hersey” and “Hookah”.  She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and a sister, Gail Taylor.
    A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2021at 2:00PM at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Jeff Hagood with the burial to follow at Bethlehem Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:45pm prior to the service on Thursday and other times at the home.
   Memorials may be made to Holly Hill Baptist Church, 2818 Edgewood Avenue, Burlington, NC 27215 or Bethlehem Chrisitan Church Cemetery Endowment fund in Memory of Faye and Leonard Alcon, P O Box 127, Altamahaw, NC 27202.
