I believe per his obit, he was taken back to North Carolina by his son in law to be buried.
A Find A Grave visitor sent: Moses Lambeth served as a soldier under General Washington during the Revolutionary War and died near Holly Springs Mississippi on 8/18/1843 at the age of 89 (from an obituary in the Holly Springs Gazette dated 8/25/1843. (Obit attached) [10623]

Tabith was born in New Bern, Craven County, NC and died in Lexington, Davidson County, NC
Tabitha's husband, Moses Lambeth was a Private from NC in the American Revolution.
Note: " Moses was wounded in the Battle of Guilford Courthouse in Greensboro, NC on March 15, 1781. His wife, Tabitha barely age 24 and pregnant, rode 40 miles on horseback to fetch him home."
