GREENSBORO — Mr. Billy Don Shepherd, 65, of 1455 Grantland Place, died Thursday, Nov. 25, 1999, at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital.
A native of Greensboro, he was the son of Ms. Mary Dixon Shepherd, who survives.
He was the owner of Shepherd Brothers Carpet and served in the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors other than his mother include three daughters, Mrs. Tommy (Tena) Anton and Ms. Denise Naico, both of Greensboro, and Mrs. Brad (Tracy) Benfield of Burlington;
two sons, Mr. Scott Shepherd of Greensboro and Mr. Tony Shepherd of Altamonte Springs, Fla.; and six grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at Forbis and Dick North Elm Chapel.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 111-D Pomona Drive, Greensboro, N.C. 27407; or to a charity of choice. 3, Mr. Billy Don Shepherd
