 BURLINGTON — Kenneth “Ken” “Pop” Malcolm Robbins, 94, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 12, 2016. He was born in Hazard, Kentucky and was the husband of 64 years to Lillie Murray Robbins who survives.
 
 Ken was employed with Associated Transport for many years and later retired from LeeWay Trucking. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during World War II. Ken was a member of First United Methodist Church of Graham; Teamsters Union #1057 and American Legion Post 63. He drove the DAV van transporting veterans to their medical appointments at VA in Durham for over 14 years. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
 
 Survivors include his wife, Lillie Murray Robbins of the home; daughters, Barbara Davis of Graham, Sharon Robbins of the home and Carolyn Boggs and husband, Sam of Graham; grandchildren, Amanda Moon, Angela Black, Jaime (Phillip) Roberts and Justin (Kellie) Boggs and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Lewis and Bertha Smith Robbins; grandson, Brian King; sonin-law, Rick Davis; sister, Faye Ford and brothers, Virgil, Gene and Glen Robbins.
 
 A service to celebrate his life will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at 3 p.m. at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Jim Robbins and burial will follow at Pine Hill Cemetery with military honors by the U.S. Army. The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:45 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home and other times at the home.
