Obituary Online notes for Elisabeth (Spouse 1)
Elizabeth Rogers married George Holt in Gasconade County, MO, on 27 Feb 1841.

From census records of 1850 and 1860, the couple's children were Harvey, Henry P., Mary, Edward, and Logan.

Birth place was listed on Gasconade County census entries as NC in 1850 and MO in 1860.

Gasconade County Cemetery Survey, p. 224, reports death in 1867. This researcher suggests that Mrs. Holt died circa 1862 because the widower George Holt married Mary Gerken 30 Jul 1863.

Researcher Rex Harmon suggests that Mrs. Holt's maiden may also be spelled Rodgers. Further research is necessary on the entire Holt family.
