Mary Jessie Forrester Siler 
    BURLINGTON — Mary Jessie Forrester Siler , 96, of 406 Laurel Hill Drive went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 4, 2005 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Chatham County and the daughter of the late Charles and Elvie Dixon Forrester .
    Jessie  was employed for many years with Barbee Fabrics and she later retired from Rolane Hosiery. She was a longtime member of Grove Park Baptist Church where she served as secretary for her Sunday school class for many years and was a former member of the Hand Bell Choir and the WMU. Jessie  was an accomplished seamstress and gardner. She also enjoyed playing the piano and baking cakes for her family and friends. Jessie  will be remembered as a beloved sister, aunt, great aunt and great great aunt and cousins and will be missed by her many friends and neighbors.
    Survivors include her sister, Lucille Spoon of the home and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Siler ; parents; sisters, Sallie F. Collier and Estelle Wall; brothers, Clarence, Nathan, Sam and Vance Forrester .
    The funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Grove Park Baptist Church by Dr. Eugene Hunsinger and Mr. Bill Vickrey and assisted by Rev. Bill Boykin. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. in the afternoon at Loves Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Siler  City. The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:0 p.m. on Monday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and at other times at the home.
    Memorials may be made to the Grove Park Baptist Church, C/O The Mission Fund, 108 Trail One, Burlington, NC 27215.
