Leona Stout Crawford
Mrs. Leona Stout Crawford, 92, a resident of the Twin Lakes Community, died Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Crawford is a native of Chatham County. She was the wife of the late Morris Garfield “M.G.” Crawford and the daughter of the late Amos Stout and the late Belle Brewer Stout.
Mrs. Crawford was a member of Riverside Baptist Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Glenda Crawford Carden and her husband, Kenneth, of Graham, Vickie Crawford Felten and her husband, Dave, of Burlington and Kimberly Crawford of Burlington› four grandchildren, K.J. Carden, Jr. and his wife, Andrea, of Burlington and Misti Carden Bass and her husband, Alex, of Asheville› Erik Felten and his wife, Hayley, of Beijing, China and Gretchen Felten Ray and her husband, Guy, of Greensboro and ten great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Crawford was preceded in death by three halfbrothers› Elvin, Ernest and Lester Stout› one brother, Luther Stout and two sisters, Ola Glosson and Clara Temple.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Riverside Baptist Church, from 2:00 until 3:00 pm prior to the service.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm in Riverside Baptist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Bob Stephenson and the Rev. Curtis Oakley. Burial will be in Graham Memorial Park. Riverside Baptist Church.
